Changing Patterns.
One pivot at a time.

Understand Your POV.
Change Your Direction.

We named our program “POV” – a term that is often used on social media to say “this is where I am and this is what’s going on right now”.  “PIVOT” was added because the program is designed to help people change direction if they are unhappy or uncomfortable with where they are.

Wherever -and whatever -your POV is, there is something about it that makes sense.  Before we can pivot in a different direction we first have to understand how you landed where you are.  For example, if your POV is depressed or anxious, there are often behavioral and thought patterns contributing to it.   You can’t always uncover and address these patterns on your own, and that is where POV PIVOT comes in.

To help you pivot we will prioritize the following:

Exploration

of what has happened to get you to where you are

Discovery

of the personal strengths and resources that you have not been using, known how to access, or maybe didn’t even know you had

Support

in a caring, non-judgmental and professional environment.

Wherever You Are,
There’s a Way Forward.

In developing  POVPIVOT Intensive Outpatient Progaram we have collaborated and applied years of psychotherapy experience to create a program that provides personal attention while applying evidenced based psychotherapy theories and techniques.  We are not affiliated with a large hospital conglomerate which gives us more freedom to tailor our curriculum and to focus on the unique needs of each individual.  Sessions are conducted online, and the format of intensive outpatient programs is group therapy and education.  The group process is powerful as it can help because it helps people understand themselves at a deeper level.  Learning is done in the context of interpersonal relationships which creates a practice field for real life.

POVPIVOT is open to Texas residents only due to licensing rules and the schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and lasts approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on the progress of the individual.  Attendance is mandatory as each day builds on the next; and it is also required by insurance if you are utilizing your health insurance benefit to cover the cost of the program.
